Community Education

What Is Community Education?

In our ongoing commitment to serve our community, Hickman County School District is fortunate to have Mrs. Kelli Dalton as our Community Education Director. Mrs. Dalton plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among the district, youth-serving organizations, and other institutions to address the diverse needs of our youth, parents, and community members.
At the heart of Community Education's mission is the establishment of a cohesive agenda that brings together schools and the community to actively support children's education. By facilitating partnerships and initiatives, Community Education endeavors to create meaningful connections between schools, parents, and community members. This collaborative effort aims to cultivate positive, lasting programs that enhance family and community involvement in education.
Hickman County School District believes that by opening our schools to parents and community members, and encouraging their active participation in their children's education, we can create a supportive and enriching environment for all stakeholders. Our ultimate goal is for these initiatives to become integral and expected components of our school system.
For more information about our Community Education program and how you can get involved, please reach out to Mrs. Kelli Dalton at Hickman County High School. HCSD welcomes your interest and participation as we work together to strengthen our community and support the success of our students.
