The
HCES sixth grade students enjoyed a day trip
to St. Louis, where they rode the tram up to the top of the 630-foot tall
Gateway Arch, one of America’s most famous landmarks; visited the Science
Center, an interactive facility that emphasizes hands-on learning; and toured
the St. Louis Zoo, ranked annually as one of the top zoos in the nation.
One the way home, we stopped for a buffet dinner, where students ate and ate,
then ate some more.
