= The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding juniors in the top 20% of their class throughout the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana who show academic promise.
= Tyler was chosen by the faculty of HCHS based on the strength of his academic record, intellectual curiosity, and contributions to his school and community.
= He will receive a book, chosen by the U of L committee, special program invitations to U of L, along with an invite to the annual reception in his honor which will be held on the campus of U of L this summer.
