The Born Learning Academy kickoff was held August 25th at the elementary school cafeteria for parents with children infant to age 4. The Born Learning Academy is a series of six free workshops that will be held throughout the year to provide parents with resources to turn everyday activities into early learning moments and help ensure their children are ready for kindergarten. A meal and childcare is provided at each workshop. If you would like to attend, please contact the KAPS Family Resource Center at the elementary school to sign up. The workshop dates are September 22, October 20, November 17, January 26, February 23, and March 22 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. each evening.
