You Could Win a Kindle eReader!

February is Library Lovers’ Month and we will soon be celebrating I Love to Read Week (Feb. 25-Mar 1) with various reading promotions, contests, and prizes.  To kick off this annual reading celebration, during the month of February, any student (in Grades 7-12) who reads a book and passes the AR test on the book will have his or her name put in a drawing for a Kindle Fire eReader.  The more books you read and the more tests you pass, the more times your name is entered into the drawing.  But wait...that’s not all!  In conjunction with Black History Month (also in February), if you choose to read a book on a topic related to Black History, that particular book/test will be worth not one, but two entries into the drawing!  There is much more to come at the end of this month, but in the meantime, if you need to checkout a book or if you have questions, see Mrs. Stairs in the library!
