U of L Yarmuth Book Award  

 The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding juniors in the top 20% of their class throughout the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana who show academic promise.   

Basch was chosen by the faculty of HCHS based on the strength of her academic record, intellectual curiosity, and contributions to her school and community. 

Basch will receive a book chosen by the U of L committee, special program invitations to U of L, along with an invite to the annual reception in her honor which will be held on the campus of U of this summer.
